Shanel is a seasoned Event and Wedding Planner with an extensive background in events and creativity. She is a graduate of Northwood University and a Certified Planner. She is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC).
Event planning as a hobby for Shanel. She began by planning small parties and events for local churches and other organizations. She soon realized she had gift and gained extensive expertise in her craft. She has practiced and sharpened her skills with some of Michigan's most accomplished planners. She has worked with prestigious planners such as, The Wedding Connection and Ladonna Weddings.
In recognition of her experience and expertise she has gone on to plan for large scale, highly visible projects like planning events and functions for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit.
She has experience in coordinating some of the most elaborate functions with all the trimming including food and catering, atmospheric lighting, decoration planning and design, talent management, and many other complicated event details.
As a direst result of her extensive experience and reputation within the industry, she has maintained and acquired an extensive network of vendors and service providers in Michigan, nationwide, and internationally.
Shanel maintains and upbeat, warm, and compassionate attitude which helps make working with her a pleasure. Coupled with her negotiation skills, patience, and creativity, she has what it takes to make any event spectacular.
